The independent people were on the top floor, and the assisted living residents were on the lower floors. The dining room for assisted living was on each floor. They just built a brand new memory care unit which is just around the block from where the assisted living is. When you're in assisted living, they would give you your medicine, clean the room, and help you with bathing, and they don’t up-charge for everything. The difference in the prices is by the size of the room that you choose. They had a lot of music people coming in there.
The general appearance of Mease Manor was good. It was an older community but still very well maintained and very nice. The staff members were helpful, good, and open. They gave us all the answers to our questions. Mease Assisted Living had an excellent location; it's near the water. It has a laundry in the hall, and each floor had a porch where you could sit outside.
